Overview of the Role

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment at Saputo, located in Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the Supervisor, this position is responsible for order picking, loading/unloading, and general warehouse duties. Forklift experience, including High Lift, Dock Stocker and Power Jack operation is required.

This role works closely with production, quality, and warehouse teams to support continuous improvement and minimize downtime.

Schedule: variable shift schedule – AM & PM, weekday & weekends

Hourly rate: $27.73

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment

• Load and unload delivery trucks using equipment safely and efficiently

• Receive incoming products and store them in designated areas

• Inspect freight for accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies

• Identify and dispose of damaged or leaking products

• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and Power Jack

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic corrective actions

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and perform general housekeeping duties

• Update cleaning logs and other required documentation daily

• Record shift data and support inventory tracking

• Assist with unplanned tasks and other duties as assigned

• Other duties as required.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating a High Lift, Dock Stocker and Power Jack

• Physically capable of meeting job demands (e.g., standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in cooler environments)

• Comfortable using systems such as SAP, Maestro, RF scanners, and voice pick technology

• Experience in a food or dairy environment (asset)

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills

• Self-motivated and results-oriented; able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
