Position Schedule: Rotating shift, 4:45 AM -1:15 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM What You’ll Do: Prepare assigned meals for staff and patients following HACCP guidelines. Serves the hot portion of the patient’s meal according to the patient’s diet and other personal preferences. Responsible for timely set up, food preparation, service, and clean-up of catered meals. Maintains a clean, orderly work area, following a clean as you go policy. Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal, medical and financial information per HIPAA. QualificationsWhat You’ll Need: Two years of cooking experience (restaurant, school, hospital, etc.) preferred. Current Marion County Health Department Food Service Handler’s Card. Knowledge of the principles of the work involved. Must be able to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge and use of computers preferred. Must be highly motivated.
