About this role
<p>Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with expertise in React and <strong>heavy focus in Java</strong> to join our team. The candidate will oversee all technical aspects of our authorization layer that powers not only the global application but also over 70+ mission critical servicing applications. The successful candidate will focus on implementing our Point of Arrival (POA) authorization layer and delivery of features and enhancements for the entire global registration portfolio, including a top priority compliance initiative for our org.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>10+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:
<ul>
<li>Wide breath of engineering experience.</li>
<li>Proven experience leading teams of engineers.</li>
<li>Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing.</li>
<li>Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of authorizations domain and industry standards (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).</li>
<li>Java: 7+ years.</li>
<li>React: 3+ years.</li>
<li>RDBMs: 2+ years.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, including setting technical direction and driving execution across multiple initiatives.</li>
<li>Expertise in designing and developing distributed systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.</li>
<li>Experience in implementing authentication and authorization flows within enterprise-scale applications.</li>
<li>Database migration experience.</li>
<li>Cloud experience.</li>
<li>FinTech, Banking domain knowledge.</li>
<li>Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.</li>
<li>Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience engaging cross-functional teams including product, design, and infosec.</li>
