Service Administration Manager – Heatherbrae & Orange, NSW
About the Opportunity
The Service Administration Manager leads and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Service Administration team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely support to service operations. This role has a strong focus on aged Work in Progress (WIP), invoicing, service-related accounts receivable, warranty processing, and job estimation management. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, and supporting business performance—while fostering a safe, engaged, and high-performing team culture aligned with the Sandvik Way.
Responsibilities:
About you:
You will bring a diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, along with at least five years’ experience in a service administration or operational support environment with demonstrated team leadership responsibility. You have strong hands-on experience managing Work in Progress (WIP), invoicing, warranty administration, and service-related accounts receivable, supported by a solid understanding of service-based financial processes and ERP systems such as SAP or Maximo. You are a confident people leader who can coach and develop teams in a fast-paced operational setting, set clear priorities, and apply sound judgement to ensure efficient daily workflows. With a continuous improvement mindset, you identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and enhance service delivery. You build effective working relationships across departments through clear, professional communication and diplomacy, while maintaining high standards of safety, ethical conduct, and compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements. Strong proficiency in enterprise systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, supports your ability to make data-driven decisions and contribute to operational excellence.
