Join our Procurement Strategy & Transformation team as interim Senior Procurement Manager, Strategy (1 year contract), where you will help shape the future of Procurement at Sandoz. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with an MBA or equivalent advanced degree and several years of experience in procurement, consulting, strategy, or transformation within large, multinational corporations.

You will lead critical initiatives that drive organizational change, build future capabilities, and elevate procurement excellence globally. This includes managing strategic projects and spearheading the development of our Procurement Academy 2.0, ensuring our teams have the skills and capabilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment.

This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Drive and manage projects that shape the future of Procurement, including transformation programs and capability-building efforts.
  • Procurement Academy 2.0: Design and implement a global learning and development framework to upskill procurement teams, including defining competency models and supporting talent development and succession planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies within Procurement, including opportunities to unlock additional value through our supplier ecosystem.
  • Risk Management & Resilience: Contribute to supplier risk assessments and contingency planning, and help design strategies for supply chain resilience.
  • Influence & Change Management: Actively engage stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes and capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Executive Communication: Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for leadership updates, workshops, and external communications.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • 5–8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or transformation roles (preferably with exposure to procurement).
  • Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
