Job Summary

The Veeva Release Manager is responsible for release planning, coordination and alignment across all applications on the Veeva Platform delivered in the context of STEP. The incumbent coordinates with project and operational teams to drive timing, technical execution and compliance of multiple large, operational, project and general releases across applications in accordance to the STEP roadmap closely aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives and industry best practices.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• End-to-end accountability for release delivery across the entire platform.
• Development and maintenance of release calendars and communication plans.
• Management the end-to-end release lifecycle, including planning, testing, deployment, and validation.
• Coordination with delivery, operational technology and business stakeholders on progress and timeline evolution.
• Environment readiness and availability throughout the release and development lifecycle
• Compliance with GxP and other regulatory standards during release execution.
• Maintenance of documentation for release notes, change logs, and related procedures.
• Primary point of contact for release-related communications.
• Facilitation of release readiness meetings and post-release reviews.
• Collaboration with Business and Technology leadership to analyse release performance and implement process improvements.

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 5+ years of experience in project delivery and/or application management or IT services within a multinational organization. Key skills include strategic planning and stakeholder management 
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a GxP Veeva setting with a proven track record of executing multiple releases or 8+ years of similar experience in a highly regulated setting on a cloud platform. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. 
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change and innovation. 
• Experience in managing global projects and working in diverse cultural environments. 
• Proficiency in using advanced software tools and platforms relevant to the job. 
• Experience with ITIL frameworks and other service management methodologies. 

Education:

• Veeva Vault Platform Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Business Administration, or related business field; (Master’s degree is preferred) 

• Certification in project management methods (Agile, ITIL, Prince 2, PMI) is a plus.  

• Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies; Certification is a plus
