The Alliance Management Director will be responsible for overseeing strategic partnerships and collaborations within the biosimilars business unit. This role ensures that alliances deliver maximum value, operate smoothly, and align with corporate objectives in addition to negotiating product life cycle initiatives in the Alliance. The position requires strong relationship management, governance expertise, and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Alliance Governance & Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners in biosimilars collaborations.
    • Establish and maintain governance structures (Joint Steering Committees, operational teams).
    • Monitor alliance health and proactively resolve conflicts or misalignments.
  • Performance Management:
    • Track and report alliance KPIs, milestones, and contractual obligations.
    • Ensure compliance with agreed terms and manage risk mitigation plans.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    • Drive alignment between partner objectives and internal business priorities.
    • Facilitate joint decision-making and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams to support alliance execution.
    • Act as a liaison to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize alliance performance and value creation.
    • Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Business (MBA preferred).
  • 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in alliance management or BD roles.
  • Strong understanding of biosimilars market dynamics, regulatory pathways, and commercialization.
  • Proven ability to manage complex partnerships and governance structures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
