As we expand our footprint and impact across the Nordics, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Unit Head to lead our commercial operations across Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway. This role carries full P&L responsibility and is accountable for driving business performance, market growth, and cross-functional team leadership across the region. 

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Strategic Leadership & Execution 

  • Develop and execute the Nordic business strategy for Biosimilars and branded generics in alignment with regional and global objectives. 

  • Lead the operationalization of strategic plans all Nordic markets, ensuring launch and commercial excellence and market competitiveness. 

  • Drive business transformation initiatives and foster a unified “One Sandoz” culture across the region. 

2. P&L Ownership & Commercial Performance 

  • Full accountability for the Business Unit’s financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, and forecasting. 

  • Oversee product launches, lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategies tailored to each Nordic country. 

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies. 

3. Team Leadership & Organizational Development 

  • Lead and develop a high-performing cross-Nordic team across commercial,  market access, and support functions. 

  • Promote cross-country collaboration and talent development, enabling career mobility and capability building. 

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Market Access 

  • Support a strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, payers, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners. 

  • Represent Sandoz externally to enhance reputation and support market access initiatives. 

5. Governance, Compliance & Culture 

  • Ensure adherence to all local legislation and Sandoz policies. 

  • Champion the company’s values and promote a unified “One Sandoz” mindset across the Business Unit. 

  • Support employer branding and external representation in collaboration with the Country Leadership Team. 

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, ideally with Nordic responsibility. 

  • Strong track record of P&L management and delivering commercial results across Nordics. 

  • Deep understanding of the Nordic healthcare landscape, regulatory- and market access environment. 

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. 

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus. 

  • Academic background in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
