ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for improving and sustaining the automation equipment capability and meet the KPI (Availability, OEE and Yield).
• Has capability to lead a shift and become a role model to shift technicians and maintenance assistants.
• Performing and line troubleshooting and supporting daily production operation.
• Analyze equipment failure root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Ability to identify root cause and provide corrective action through use of Effective problem solving tools and write technical incident report.
• Perform regular inspections to identify equipment root cause.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance and calibration the equipment to optimal condition.
• Maintain equipment maintenance documentation and checklist.
• Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Support equipment setup, relocation and retirement.
• Assist Engineer in continuous Equipment improvement projects and Automation projects.
• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, motivation, and willingness to work proactively either independently or within the team. 

REQUIRED:

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate with 7 years' experience as technician or Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics with 5 years' experience.

PREFERRED:

• Familiar with automation equipment (robotics, conveyors, storage systems, sensors, motors, etc.)
• Basic understanding of PLC operations (reading I/O status, simple fault isolation).
• Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and basic Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Hands-on skills using tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to handle system alarms, downtime recovery, and escalations.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good documentation accuracy (logs, maintenance reports, equipment history).
• Ability to lead a shift with good teamwork and collaboration skills.

SKILLS:

• Expertise in using power tools, hand tools, repairing and troubleshoot motor and sensor related errors.
• Knowledge in writing technical report.
• Ability perform clean wire soldering and proper wire management.
• Systematic approach to identifying, analyzing, and resolving equipment malfunctions.
