The Make-Ready Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance and on-site team to help keep property up to Sandalwood standards by preparing vacant units for move-ins, upkeeping grounds of the property and completing resident service requests. This is a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, hard work and the highest level of customer service.QualificationsWHAT YOU’LL DO
Prepare vacant units to company standards for move-ins or ready to lease
Perform make-ready duties such as removing all trash from unit, replacing or treating carpets, replacing or repairing flooring, painting and touchups, changing light fixtures and replacing bulbs, checking outlets and light switches for electric connection and servicing appliances
Assist in rekeying locks, plumbing and electrical repairs, repairing appliances, replacing or fixing toilets, etc.
Clean units thoroughly after completing make-ready duties
Observe condition of units for any damages or unusual circumstances such as undeclared pets, illegal activities, unauthorized occupants, etc.
Maintain community appearance by regularly inspecting and touring the property. Report any concerns or hazardous conditions immediately and other needed repairs/maintenance to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager
Gather and remove litter, trash and other items that do not belong on property
Work with maintenance team, contractors, vendors and other affiliates in preparation of units and grounds
Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of the buildings, grounds, swimming pools and other areas as required
WHAT WE NEED:
1+ years of experience in Multifamily properties, proven track record of success
Ability to work on call
Valid driver’s license, required
Takeover/Lease-up experience, preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of customer service
Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test
COMPENSATION:
Negotiable depending on role and past experience
