About this role

 

  • Assists the Production Supervisor in managing the effective use of resources: manpower, machines, materials, and methods (4Ms). 

  • Prepares and analyzes production reports such as Processing Line Sheets, Production Monitoring Records, and Incident Reports. 

  • Accomplishes Corrective Action Request (CAR) forms; monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions. 

  • Monitors machine standard parameters and process parameters using Production Monitoring Sheets; identify deviations and initiate corrective measures. 

  • Operates machines and conducts processing of products in accordance to In-Process Specifications. 

  • Conduct, review, and monitor Pre-Operative and Post-Operative activities to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and operational readiness. 

  • Verify and monitor raw materials and ensures compliance with FIFO/ FEFO inventory practices. 

  • Assembles, dismantles, performs preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on production equipment and machines. 

  • Monitors and manages inventory levels of production supplies, tools, and consumables. Initiates purchase requisition of supplies and consumables. 

  • Conducts regular checks on the condition of production tools and implements to identify wear, damage, or need for repair or replacement. 

  • Applies problem-solving tools to resolve production issues and non-conformities. 

  • Proposes and implements process and productivity improvements with measurable business impact. 

  • Initiates cost-saving projects related to production efficiency and line optimization.

  • Carry outs tasks assigned by the immediate superior based on skill level and operational needs.

  • Serves as Line Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of Line Supervisor.
