What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One year experience in an office setting
- Customer Service experience
What You'll Do:
- Greet patients/visitors in a courteous, welcoming manner
- Ensure patient understands and signs all required forms as it pertains to the patient’s registration/admission
- Accurate entry of all required information into the hospital system
- Collect payment when applicable
- Notify the clinical department with the physician order for all outpatient services and prompt notification to the ER clinical staff of individuals seeking emergency services
- Verify that all patient and insurance information is entered accurately and that authorization is obtained for the services rendered
- Coordinate with referring physician office as it pertains to registration requirements
