Can you stay organized, work different shifts and work well with a small team? Are you equally comfortable with handling cleaning chemicals, sweeping, mopping, changing linens and responding to urgent calls? If so, we'd love for you to apply for our EVS Tech position!
What You'll Need:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting preferred. Other cleaning experience may be accepted.
- Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning in a health care setting.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to create a safe environment in a healthcare setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Clean all patient rooms and common areas.
- Discharge cleaning – thoroughly clean patient’s rooms after the patient has left the hospital.
- Cycle Cleaning – weekly or monthly detailed cleaning of all surfaces.
- Carpet & Upholstery Care – vacuum all carpeted floors regularly, treat spots and stains on carpet or upholstery as needed.
- Hard Surface Floors – daily or more frequently dust, damp and spot mop.
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotation.
