  • Free pet adoptions, pet vaccines and spay/neuter services
  • …and so much more!

What you’ll do:

  • Provide exceptional service to every guest; including acknowledging guests as they enter or call SDHS, thanking them for coming to SDHS, determining their needs, answering questions related to our services, and working through their inquiry until resolution.
  • Complete as many quality adoptions as possible by assisting guests in finding an appropriate match for their household and lifestyle while encouraging adopters to take advantage of our risk-free “Adoption Guarantee.”
  • Check guests in and out for relinquishment, euthanasia and Community Spay and Neuter services.
  • Check in stray animals brought in by the public and gather detailed information and assess stray cat’s eligibility for the Community Cat Program as needed.
  • Cross-train and participate in all areas of the Guest Experience including but not limited to Adoptions, Admissions, Stray and Reclaim.

What we’re looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
