Position Summary

As a DC (Direct Current) Test Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, the candidate will work with advanced technologies and devices. The role involves providing essential feedback to the fab based on DC test results. The candidate is expected to ensure the highest level of accuracy in test results through program troubleshooting, equipment troubleshooting, device characterization, and benchmarking with Samsung Korea.

Role and Responsibilities

• Optimize test environment programs for DC testers.

• Ensure accurate and repeatable test results.

• Help troubleshoot equipment problems.

• Help sustain floor operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• BS/MS Electrical Engineering preferred.

• Experience in parametric testing (preferred 3+ years).

• Knowledge of test structures and test methodologies.

• Ability to interpret and modify code on various platforms including Basic, PERL, and UNIX.

• Experience in a wafer probe manufacturing environment is recommended (Keysight ATE and TEL prober knowledge is a plus).

• Good communication skills.

• Integrity, good teamwork skills, flexibility, strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency on the job are required.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
