Accurate spelling required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
Keyboarding and computer skills.
Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all age groups.
Must be able to keep calm under stress.
High school level of knowledge necessary to read physicians' orders and transcribe them correctly.

What you'll do
- The Unit Clerk is responsible for performing secretarial and clerical duties in the mental health department. This includes accurately transcribing physicians' orders and effectively communicating with patients and staff.
