3 years experience with medical billing preferred.
Previous experience in a healthcare business office or Physicians office preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decision-making. Detail attentiveness required. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self- direct
Ability to empathize and establish positive rapport with customers recognizing the importance of maintaining a positive customer service relationship with internal customers, external customers, patients, residents, family members, insurance providers, etc.
Proficiency with computers required.
High school Level of knowledge required.
