- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Knowledge of new trends and techniques in Nursing.
- Previous hospital LPN exp. is pref.
- BLS required.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
- Demonstrates ability to provide quality patient care.
- Possesses ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual.
- Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to lift and move patients in a safe manner .
- Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good, creative, problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality, timely, and cost-effective patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required.
- Detail attentiveness required. Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and projects with speed and accuracy.
- Able to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.
