High school diploma or GED required.
Must have experience in personal care skills, body mechanics, behavior management
Experience in a recreation setting preferred
CPR certified
Associates degree in related field preferred or relevant equivalent work experience.
Must have a willingness and aptitude for working with a variety of people.
Must have a basic understanding of the needs of the elderly and those in needs of long term care services.
Demonstrates above average imagination, creativity, spirit of cooperation and friendly personality are required.

What you'll do
- The Activities Assistant will care for the community and assist in recreation therapy activities. The role requires working with a variety of people, particularly the elderly and those in need of long-term care services.
