Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer
Samaritan Daytop Village provides life-changing services in mental health, addiction recovery, housing, and more to help individuals and families across New York rebuild their lives. We serve over 33,000 clients annually throughout the five boroughs, as well as Suffolk, Rockland, Sullivan, Westchester, and Ulster Counties.
The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer supports a distributed environment spanning over 60 program locations and 1,700 employees by maintaining and optimizing the organization’s network, server, cloud, and cybersecurity systems. This role troubleshoots complex infrastructure issues, ensures high system availability, and provides onsite support through regular travel to program locations. The engineer also maintains documentation, supports HIPAA‑regulated environments, and provides occasional off‑hours assistance to keep critical IT operations running securely and efficiently.

This is a full-time exempt role with a salary of $95,000-$105,000 with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement.
This role is based at our Briarwood, Queens headquarters and requires regular travel within NYC, along with occasional trips—about five per year—to program locations in Suffolk, Rockland, Sullivan, Westchester, and Ulster Counties, or as needed for maintenance and outage support. It follows a hybrid schedule with three days per week on‑site (either at headquarters or a program location), Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with flexibility for emergencies, outages, and off‑hours system maintenance.
