<p><strong>Location:</strong> Ocean County, New Jersey (Onsite, 5 days/week)</p><p><strong>About the role</strong><br>This is an early-career IT support role supporting frontline users in a structured helpdesk environment. You will be part of a client-facing support team responsible for resolving day-to-day technical issues, managing helpdesk tickets, and preparing systems for end users. The role is ideal for candidates starting their IT careers who are comfortable with basic troubleshooting, structured workflows, and customer interaction, with clear opportunities to grow into more advanced technical responsibilities over time.</p><h3>What you will do</h3><ul><li><p>Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets related to email, login issues, connectivity, password resets, and printers</p></li><li><p>Follow documented SOPs, ticket workflows, and escalation procedures</p></li><li><p>Assist with user onboarding tasks including account provisioning, password resets, and basic Microsoft 365 support</p></li><li><p>Prepare workstations including software installation, system configuration, and peripheral setup</p></li><li><p>Document ticket resolutions, actions taken, and client communications clearly and accurately</p></li><li><p>Communicate status updates to clients and internal teams in a professional manner</p></li><li><p>Support device provisioning tasks such as labeling and system preparation</p></li><li><p>Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 2 / Tier 3 engineers as required</p></li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><p>Prior experience in any IT environment, preferably in a helpdesk or support role (MSP experience is a plus, not mandatory)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 Pro, and basic networking concepts</p></li><li><p>Ability to follow procedures and work effectively within a ticketing system</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused approach</p></li><li><p>Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and take ownership of issues</p></li><li><p>Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship</p></li><li><p>Based in New Jersey and able to work onsite in Ocean County five days per week</p></li></ul><h4>Why join</h4><p>This role offers a strong foundation for building a long-term career in IT support within a structured and supportive environment.
