Schedule/Hours: Full-Time 40hours and occasional Evening and or Saturday

This position is responsible for: is focused on member acquisition, and experience in the areas of Membership. This staff member is responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful, and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow, and thrive. ensures safe, professional, and enjoyable operation of the fitness area; ensures the safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of the fitness facility and equipment; opens and/or closes the gym and basic setup for events on a daily basis.  Serves as a lead worker to Kroc Associates for scheduling, training purposes, and member satisfaction analysis. 

Duty 1: Offers tours that connect individual or family needs to Kroc Center programs, answering incoming phone calls, addressing needs, and providing program information in a professional and kind manner
Duty 2: Plans, schedules, and assigns work for the Kroc Associates; monitors work to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Duty 3: Assist associates in resolving routine problems; notify the supervisor of unique operational or personal problems

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Duties are usually performed by a combination of standing and walking on a frequent change
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and or push/ pull moderately heavy (25-50lbs) materials, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

Education:  Must be 18 years of age.

Experience: High School diploma or G.E.D. and

 2 – 4 years of experience in customer relations and leading fitness and recreational activities preferred.

Or 

Any Equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications:

Safe From Harm Certification
Bloodborne Pathogens Certification
Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within the first 30 days of employment
