Salt Separation Services have been leading in desalination technology for over 35 years; specialising in the engineering, commissioning and servicing of reverse osmosis (RO) plants that provide drinkable water solutions across a variety of industries. Key Responsibilities

Get hands-on experience learning how to engineer, design and build our bespoke and unique RO plants, we will give you the knowledge and skills to kickstart your career in engineering.

Our customers come to us with their unique and varied requirements for water treatment and we have the resources to meet their needs. By joining as an apprentice, you’ll be playing a key role in manufacturing products they need and helping keep alive a thriving, local UK business who supplies to global clients. But not only that, as we are a small business on one site, you'll be able to benefit from learning about how what it takes to go from a client request, right through to commissioning. 
 
Become a technical expert in important disciplines like pipefitting, welding and more tool based skills. We'll support you by giving you all the guidance you need. Your work will be meaningful and working daily with our collaborative and inclusive teams will provide opportunity to develop with us as we grow. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You need to be:
- Age: 16+
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade A*-E / 9-3 including English and Maths.

About Salt Separation Services

Salt Separation Services Limited is an independent water treatment company specialising in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of water treatment systems. The company works in the offshore oil and gas, marine (both naval and commercial) and industrial markets, concentrating on membrane separation processes, predominantly Reverse Osmosis (RO) and NanoFiltration, to desalinate water for drinking, process and industrial purposes. Our experience covers a wide range of plant types, from low pressure RO for the treatment of tap water through to high pressure seawater RO desalination for fresh water production on-board ships, offshore platforms and on land. We are able to manufacture plants of all sizes, from a 1m3/d package desalination plant through to custom built packages as large as 2,000m3/d installed on-site. Plants can also be offered designed and constructed inside standard ISO containers or trailer mounted, thereby allowing quick hook-up and commissioning. Salt Separation Services are also able to supply and support other water treatment equipment, including softeners, ion exchange plant, filtration systems and UV disinfection equipment.
