Tooth + Tusk Pediatric Dentistry is entering an exciting new chapter with the addition of Dr. Ashley Schaaf, DDS, MPH, and we are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant or EFDA to support our expanding clinical team.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following:
Provide advanced chairside support for pediatric restorative and preventive procedures
Utilize EFDA-level skills (if applicable) to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes
Take high-quality X-rays and accurately document clinical care
Manage operatory setup/breakdown, sterilization, and clinical flow with precision
Create a calm, positive, child-friendly experience for every patient
Work closely with Dr. Schaaf to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional care
Qualifications
You will be required to possess the following:
Experienced Dental Assistant with strong pediatric experience
EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant) strongly preferred for Oregon
Confident, efficient, and able to perform in a fast-paced pediatric environment
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Must be willing and able to work a full-time schedule

- The Pediatric Dental Assistant will provide advanced chairside support for pediatric restorative and preventive procedures and manage operatory setup, sterilization, and clinical flow.
