Overview

Orthodontic Assistant (Full-Time)

Compensation: $18 – $23 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday with occasional Fridays
Travel: Must be willing to travel between 5 locations

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Assist the orthodontist during a wide range of orthodontic procedures

  • Place and remove brackets, wires, bands, and orthodontic appliances

  • Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed

  • Prepare and efficiently turn over treatment rooms

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow sterilization protocols

  • Work closely with a collaborative clinical and front office team across locations


Qualifications

You will be required to possess the following:

  • Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred

  • Active dental assisting certification/license per state requirements

  • Comfortable traveling between 5 practice locations

  • Strong understanding of orthodontic workflow

  • Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented

  • Friendly, patient-focused communication skills

  • Assist the orthodontist during various orthodontic procedures and educate patients and families on treatment plans. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow sterilization protocols while working closely with the clinical and front office team.
