As a senior member of the Slack Marketplace team, you will be a leader on the team, helping to shape everything from the app review process, to our guidelines & policies, to how we get work done. In this role, you will be an integral part of building and representing the team's strategy and will be a mentor and resource for others.


You will work closely with cross-functional teams and and build relationships with some of the most exciting companies in the world helping them join the Slack Marketplace. You will also provide feedback and proactively propose, lead and execute projects that significantly improve the developer and customer experience of our product. What You Will Be Doing

  • Conduct thoughtful and comprehensive reviews of apps submitted to the Slack Marketplace
  • Exercise excellent judgement on behalf of Slack users, making sound decisions on complex app reviews and sensitive policy issues
  • Act as a resource and point of escalation for other team members
  • Work closely and proactively with our high-touch partners who are building and launching on our platform
  • Take a lead in the curation and management of the Slack Marketplace, building a high quality experience for customers
  • Craft strategies around the submission and review processes, partnering with our Platform, Policy and Security teams
  • Find opportunities and solutions to improve team processes that support the team in scaling and working with partners
  • Propose, plan and lead sophisticated projects and collaborate cross-functionally to see them through to completion
  • Represent our product vision and provide feedback to leadership and in cross-functional meetings

What You Should Have

  • You are passionate about great customer and developer experiences and have experience working with both
  • You are curious and love learning new skills
  • You enjoy diving into a new app or service to test it thoroughly
  • You know when something is over your head and are not afraid to ask for help
  • You are proactive and frequently propose solutions or ideas to improve our customer or developer experiences
  • You are level-headed and poised when working under deadlines for reviews, especially during busy launches with high-profile partners
  • You can manage your time very well, balancing the regular flow of reviews with the other project work you have to do
  • You regularly seek and provide feedback to improve your own and other people's work
  • You enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently, and really enjoy supporting and mentoring others
  • You have a deep understanding of how APIs work and have built apps before

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $136,600 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
