YOU WILL BE:

The Sales Experience Manager, Women's, leads with a focus on customer service and relationship-building, embodying Bergdorf Goodman's values of Excellence, Imagination & Graciousness. Driving department performance, partnering across teams, and inspiring a high-performing, customer-first culture, this leader ensures seamless sales experience representing Bergdorf Goodman.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Champion the vision and culture of Bergdorf Goodman while balancing brand loyalty to both BG and the vendor

  • Increase sales growth and overall department performance with company vision and values, partnering with leaders

  • Oversee all merchandise-related operations, including presentation standards, returns, damages, and vendor/merchant communication

  • Lead team execution across department functions, identifying and addressing risks or roadblocks

  • Contribute to store-wide strategic goals by establishing departmental priorities and building aligned projects

  • Partner with Buyers to review business performance and implement action plans to improve results

  • Collaborating with Client Development Leads to establish and execute client engagement strategies

  •  Analyze customer behavior, trends, and feedback—both internal and external—to inform and adapt department strategies (e.g., focus programs)

  •  Plan and manage the departmental budget, ensuring adherence to expense guidelines while maximizing revenue

  • Enforce audit compliance and uphold department and stockroom operational controls.

  • Lead, develop, and manage team performance to achieve business and service objectives

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  •  4–6 years of relevant experience, in luxury retail or fashion

  •  4-year degree

  •  Proven track record of achieving business goals

  • Experience in building, leading, motivating, and coaching high-performing teams

  •  A collaborative, “win together” mindset

  • Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite, advanced proficiency preferred

  •  Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  •  Comfortable working in a remote environment
