YOU WILL BE:

The Boutique Assistant is responsible for providing daily support to the Schiaparelli Boutique Business and Sales Team, internally and externally, by assisting with maintenance of the Boutique, daily operations, and assisting associates with client engagement and appointments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, reflecting the Bergdorf Goodman brand and service standards

• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating to ensure optimal dining flow

• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff regarding table status and guest needs

• Maintain an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area

• Accommodate special guest requests whenever possible with discretion and professionalism

• Monitor dining room activity to ensure guest comfort and service efficiency

• Answer phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide accurate wait-time information

• Support opening and closing duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

• Previous hostess or front-of-house experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience a plus

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to remain calm and poised in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) preferred

• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours
