About this role

Job Description​

Team Lead Patient Transportation is a productive working role. Leads will primarily serve as a patient transporter with supporting duties. Lead will be engaged and complete daily tasks as needed, ensuring patient care and safety come first. Oversees the execution of day to day operations, and delegates duties as needed.  Ensures timely service, product quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met. Will serve as the Central Dispatch for their entity in the absences of a Central Dispatcher.  Communicates staffing concerns with Transportation Management and Entity level Leadership. Handles customer complaints. Follows, understands, and communicates policies and procedures with department staff. Assists with onboarding and coaching staff. Maintains a positive attitude and conducts all interactions in a professional manner. Serves as a liaison between Transportation Management, department staff, and other clinical staff. Completes unit audits as assigned by Transportation Management. Helps monitor the equipment/supply needs of the department/staff and communicates those needs to Transportation Management. Team Leads may be assigned additional tasks as needed.

  • Assign Staff Breaks/Lunches  

  • Communicate with teams related to transport delays      

  • Effectively communicate with Dispatch and, Manager, and

2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Applicable Experience:

1 year

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
