Job Description
- Technical Tasks: Perform computer order entry, medication packaging, labeling, and compounding.
- Operational Support: Manage inventory, maintain accurate records, and assist with staff training.
- Financial Duties: Resolve billing and insurance issues, handle cashiering, and manage basic accounting tasks.
- Compliance: Ensure all medications are verified by a pharmacist for accuracy per State Board and Federal regulations before dispensing.
- Has a passion for healthcare and high-quality patient interaction.
- Communicates effectively across various platforms.
- Is physically capable of standing for the majority of a shift.
- Certification: Must hold a current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) prior to the hire date.
- Schedule: This is a PRN (as needed) position.

What you'll do
- The Retail Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to prepare, compound, and distribute medications while ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities also include managing inventory, resolving billing issues, and assisting with staff training.
