About this role

Job Description​

The Opportunity: 

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Patient Transporter Central Dispatch to join our team. Through manual or computerized job assignments, the Service Associate functions as a Patient Transporter who will move patients by wheelchair or cart throughout the hospital for various reasons. Central Dispatch creates an environment that forces productivity by manipulating Star Navigator Patient Location Tracker as well as strategically moving transport associates through job request. Good communication with the nursing clinical staff is required. The Service Associate will recognize when they need to ask for help or continued guidance.

The Shift:

  • 20 Hours per Week

  • 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

  • Every Saturday and Sunday
