The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s East Hospital is seeking an OB Technologist to assist in the delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Position Details:
- Shift: Full-time-7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 3 shifts per week.
Responsibilities:
- OB Technician within the organizational structure of the Labor and Delivery area assists in delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.
- Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
- The OB Tech provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- The OB Tech individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs.
- The OB Tech collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
- The OB Tech assumes a multiskilled role performing clinical and clerical functions that serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team.
Experience:
- Childbirth & Surgical procedure experience preferred

What you'll do
- The OB Technologist assists in the delivery of care to patients undergoing surgical intervention, primarily by assisting with surgical procedures. They provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with other healthcare team members.
