About this role

Job Description​

Responsible to receive product, deliver departmental supplies, stock inventoried supplies, pick and stage supplies to fill par levels and departmental orders, manage out-dates, accurately and timely manage code carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment, locate recalled items and process for return shipment, maintain departmental orderliness, rotate stock cycle, count inventory, provide backup for procurement and all other duties assigned. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, unload trucks, handle storeroom equipment, general math skills, good written skills. Be able to adapt to and become knowledgeable in numerous software applications. Enters data in hospital Materials Management Information System. Clean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient use. May also distribute linen. May also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locations.
