About this role

Job Description​

Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity where you can improve the lives of children?

We are currently seeking a full-time, evening shift clinician for the Intake Department.   General roles and responsibilities of the position are as follows:

  • Monday – Friday schedule, 4pm - midnight
  • provides individual, group and family therapies - as well as case management services
  • recommends and implements general therapeutic interventions both for individual clients and for overall program development
  • functions as the therapist for patients and families with the psychiatrist as clinical team leader
  • additional cross training/work functions in the area of Utilization Management, including completion of certifications with insurance for hospital stays
  • conducting clinical interviews and recommending to patients and family levels of care consistent with presenting treatment needs
  • plan arrangements for aftercare, including safety planning
  • Licensure required (PLPC/LPC/LMSW/LCSW for the State of MO)
  • Assists the Intake Manager in the planning coordination and evaluation of all the daily activities of the Intake Department which can additionally include triage of emergency and non emergency calls verifying and conducting intake assessments.
