Job Description:
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs application software.
Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
Ensures software standards are met. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).
Limited use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Receives assignments in the form of specific tasks for the work to be completed. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives and schedules.
Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Contributes to completion of routine technical tasks. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on schedules and programs
Required Education:
Bachelors and 0 years related experience.
Experience:
Previous NASA experience would be a bonus.
Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
