About this role

SAIC is looking for a Logistics Analyst in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Use Inventory Database Management tools such as Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and SharePoint for tracking inventory to include receipts, issues, and inventory adjustments using standard and specialized logistics inventory systems Navy, Army, USAF, or DOD Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) systems
  • Support all stages of procurement process from filling out required forms, requesting Unique Material Master (UMM) numbers and extending material numbers to appropriate Storage Locations (SLOC's), tracking progress of purchases, using current database or generated excel spreadsheets
  • Support GFE/GFP/OMS labeling and tracking process
  • Support receiving CAC2S or Small Form Factor (SFF) or similar assets, scheduling required maintenance, monitoring the maintenance and return of assets to the appropriate activity using current shipping standards, Form DD1149, Form DD1348s, Shop Workload Management System
  • Calculate procurement lead time, repair turnaround time, spare parts health assessments based on usage, forecasting annual requirements, and assisting with forecasting demand based on previous and current data
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to provide updated status of transactions performed and any issues encountered/resolved
  • Procurement planning, placing procurements (PCARD, SAP, DLA) and tracking procurements
  • Prepare and coordinate the Weekly CCB (Configuration Control Board) Drawing Reviews
  • Analyze the Phase 1 and Phase 2 drawing package to verify parts and Next Higher Assemblies to ensure accuracy and consistency within iPDM and CMPRO database
  • Coordinate efforts between Engineering and Drafting in processing redlines, receiving updates, and transmitting engineering reviews and approvals
  • Upload the ECP Approved drawings to the repository CMPRO. Update the appropriate modules and tables for Part Numbers, Cage Codes, Parts list and Next Higher Assembly change/updates to the drawings
  • Verify nomenclature, part number, CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) Code, and NSN (National Stock Number) consistency within the drawing package and the availability for procurement through WebFLIS and Haystack
  • Redline drawings for discrepancies and documenting changes within the drawing package to reflect correct Part Numbers, CAGE Codes and Nomenclatures for CCB (Configuration Control Board) approval
  • Maintain ECP Matrix for tracking CAC2S individual drawings
  • Update monthly CSAR (Configuration Status Accounting Report)


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of experience performing acquisition logistics for the DoD. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree will be accepted 
  • Must be proficient with computers and experience in Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Outlook
  • Must be proficient in the use of database applications such as Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and SharePoint
  • Must be experienced in Inventory Database Management and tracking to include receipts, issues, and inventory adjustments using standard and specialized logistics inventory systems such as Navy Registry or other Navy, Army, USAF, or DOD Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) systems
  • Must be experienced in completion of forms DD1149 and DD1348
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and also in a team environment
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task supporting multiple customers both internal and external
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods both sitting while working at a desk/computer and working on his or her feet
  • Must not have limited mobility precluding reaching overhead, stooping/kneeling or making repetitive motions

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Interim Secret required to start with the ability obtain a secret clearance.  SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
