Position Overview:

We are looking for Summer Analysts based in Toronto to join Sagard Credit. The right candidates would join a collaborative team and get an opportunity to work on private credit transactions across a broad range of industries. The Summer Analysts will help with all aspects of sourcing, diligence, and execution. Sagard works in small deal teams, giving the Summer Analysts a significant amount of responsibility and opportunities to learn and advance their career.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze potential investment opportunities across a variety of industries

• Conduct detailed research and due diligence

• Help build sophisticated financial models to assist in the investment process

• Assist senior team members in negotiating and structuring documentation

• Assist in portfolio monitoring and management

Experience & Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or other related fields, with an expected graduation date in 2028

• Strong research, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent knowledge of finance and accounting concepts

• Proven curiosity about investing and analyzing businesses

• Track record of dedication academically

• Strong communication skills

• Works optimally in teams or independently

• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
