As a Kitchen Supervisor in our iconic concert venues, you'll lead teams of volunteer staff in the production and serving of concession menu items, ensuring every order meets our standards in quality and timeliness. You'll lead the line, support the team, and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen of a high volume, music-driven venue. As the ideal candidate you'll model teamwork, service, and integrity to foster a positive work environment to deliver exceptional service to guests through unforgettable experiences. Reports to Kitchen Manager.
- Supervise volunteer kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency with brand standards and timely food production in a high-volume concession kitchen.
- Train volunteer kitchen staff on proper preparation, cooking, presentation and storage. Provide training in the operation and cleaning of kitchen equipment, ensuring the highest levels of safety and sanitation.
- Lead daily operations, including task delegation, shift checklists, cleaning and temperature logs, kitchen opening/closing tasks. Perform kitchen functions as needed, including food preparation, sanitation, and receiving tasks.
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are on-hand and assigned as necessary for each event. Transport and distribute supplies as needed during event.
- Oversee special food preparation needs, including accommodating dietary restrictions and food allergies in compliance with food safety standards. Provide direct oversight into VIP food preparations and service.
- Perform receiving, shipping, and marshalling duties outside of event hours. Assist with inventory, product rotation, and date labeling to ensure fresh products are readily available for preparation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly food service environment. Follow sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies, focusing on both public areas and back of house.
- Contribute to pre-shift meetings, focusing on opportunities to improve performance and support venue success. Communicate with front-of-house teams and venue leadership to ensure seamless service and operational flow.
- Support catering and private events in planning and execution.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training, and company policies. Request proper ID per company policy.
- Communicate and uphold company issued steps of service. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.

Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- 2+ years' experience in multiple stations of high-volume kitchen
- Supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated team player and self-starter
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, development, and clear communication of expectations
- Ability to run all kitchen stations and expo
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation procedures
- Basic computer knowledge/skills required
- Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needs
Licenses / Certifications
- State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire
- Certified Food Safety Manager certification required within 90 days of hire
- Forklift certification required upon hire
This position requires a pre-employment drug screening (4-panel: phencyclidine, cocaine, amphetamines, and opiates).
Physical Requirements
Speak, hear, and use non-verbal cues to communicate with guests. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Walk up and down stairs while navigating the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move goods. Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer and handling dishes.
Working Conditions
Kitchen environment, indoors and outdoors, subject to both kitchen and customer areas, with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
