We have an in-house Architectural Woodwork & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager at our Fort Myers office.

 

What you will do:

·         Develop and update the master project schedule monthly in collaboration with the Superintendent

·         Conduct constructability reviews and collaborate with Estimators on alternate construction means and methods, site logistics, general requirements, hoisting systems, and staffing requirements.

·         Participate in preconstruction meetings with Owner/Architect, monitoring document design and development, establishing goals and milestones, and overseeing project development within budget and schedule.

·         Establish and maintain positive working relationships with project stakeholders.

·         Assign project team responsibilities, establish administrative procedures, develop performance goals, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

·         Develop effective communication mechanisms and conflict resolution strategies among project participants.

·         Support in recruiting, training, and mentoring new employees.

·         Ensure compliance with company processes and technology utilization.

·         Manage accounting functions and budget, prepare schedule of values, implement billing process, expedite Owner payments, and establish positive cash flow.

·         Prepare and submit owner Change Order Requests, review Owner Change Orders, and update Job Cost Budget.

·         Submit accurate monthly Project Status Reports, identify and manage risks and opportunities, and develop mitigation and capture strategies.

·         Regularly monitor construction progress, hold status meetings with subcontractors.

·         Manage Subcontractor performance, provide notices, and take corrective actions for any issues.

·         Prepare detailed Project Information/Close-Out Forms and Photography for the Marketing Database.

 

What you will need to be successful:

·         Minimum of ten (10) + years’ experience in managing commercial projects valued at $25 million and up.

·         Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.

·         Excellent time management and organizational skills.

·         Strong decision making/problem solving skills.

·         Comfortable public speaking ability.

·         Understanding of contracts and risk management.

·         Proven ability to manage multiple projects in excess of $35 million.

·         Bi-lingual is a plus.
