About the role

Are you ready to launch your HR career at the core of RWE’s global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives? As our Intern for HR - Diversity & Inclusion Projects, you’ll take an active role in delivering programmes, events and communications that truly make a difference across our international organisation. This is a unique opportunity to go far beyond observation - you’ll help shape and bring to life projects that are visible at every level of RWE.

You’ll join a passionate team at the heart of our DE&I activities, gaining practical experienceand an international network from day one. Surrounded by dedicated colleagues, your learning will be hands-on and your impact genuinely valued.

  • Help coordinate and deliver global DE&I programmes, with a main focus on our Female Leadership Talent Programme
  • Create impactful presentations, event materials and internal communications, bringing DE&I topics to life for RWE Supply & Trading colleagues worldwide
  • Liaise with HR peers, external coaches, agencies and programme partners, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder engagement
  • Assist with surveys, collect and structure feedback and data to drive programme evaluation and improvement
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the team, making sure our projects run smoothly and deliver results

 

Job requirements and experience

  • You’re currently enrolled in, or have just completed, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in any field)
  • You approach tasks with drive and ownership, always striving for high-quality outcomes and are motivated to move projects forward
  • You work reliably and in a highly structured, detail-focused way, coordinating materials, schedules and event details with care
  • Your communication is clear and professional - you work well with others and are confident with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • You’re fluent in German and comfortable using English in a professional setting
  • Demonstrate curiosity, flexibility and a growth mindset to navigate parallel tasks and shifting priorities in a dynamic, international environment

 

Advantageous, but not essential

  • Strong interest in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management or People Development, gained through studies or personal research
  • Hands-on experience from internships, student jobs or organising events in academic, marketing or business environments
  • Familiarity with digital tools such as Mentimeter or AI-powered platforms are a plus
  • A truly international mindset - excited to work with colleagues from various cultural backgrounds
