If you're passionate about consumer products, e-commerce, and high-growth start-ups, keep reading!</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>Ruggable is looking for a Controller to help us leverage systems, drive operational efficiency, and provide support over international expansion. The Controller will be tasked with monthly financial reporting and ensure a smooth financial close process.</p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements to both internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Lead NetSuite reimplementation for accounting topics, partnering with internal tech group along with outside consultants</li> <li>Manage annual financial statement audit and international statutory audits</li> <li>Oversee month-end close process, with added focus on revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations</li> <li>Document key accounting policies and update technical memos</li> <li>Develop and train accounting team members</li> <li>Partner with tax and FP&amp;A teams on various projects and workstreams</li> <li>Update Company’s internal control narratives and matrices</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Need to Have:</strong></p> <p><strong>Required:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Great communication skills, both written and oral</li> <li>CPA License (inactive OK)</li> <li>Excellent people management skills</li> <li>Advanced Excel user, comfortable working with large datasets&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience using NetSuite or other large ERP</li> <li>13+ years of experience in accounting with public and private background</li> <li>Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience at nationally recognized firm</li> <li>Strong technical working of GAAP and ability to research complex topics&nbsp;</li> <li>4-year degree in accounting or finance</li> <li>Great attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working at a Start-up or pre-IPO company</li> <li>Experience working with foreign subsidiaries a plus&nbsp;</li> <li>Prior experience with D2C businesses in the consumer products space</li> <li>Knowledge over ASC 606 and ASC 718</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>$175,000 - $200,000<strong> </strong>per year base salary, dependent on experience</li> <li>An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role</li> <li>Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>At Ruggable, we offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
