We’re growing our Audit & Assurance team in Melbourne and are welcoming talented professionals to join us on a permanent basis. At RSM, you’ll do more than deliver audits, you’ll help shape outcomes for clients while building a long-term, meaningful career in a supportive and high-performing environment.
As a Senior Auditor, you’ll work with a diverse and engaging client portfolio, gaining exposure to complex audits and industries across the market. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, insight-driven audit services while building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing audit engagements end-to-end, from planning through to completion and reporting
Preparing high-quality audit work papers and documenting findings across complex audit areas
Identifying, assessing and resolving technical accounting and audit matters
Reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with relevant Accounting Standards
Leading, mentoring and developing team members across multiple engagements
Applying and upholding RSM’s audit methodology and quality standards
About you:
You’re a motivated audit professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, high‑performing environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for clients. You’re technically capable, commercially aware, and ready to continue building your career with a firm that supports your growth.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in external audit, ideally within a professional services or public practice environment
Progress toward, or completion of, CA or CPA qualifications
A strong working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and auditing frameworks
The ability to manage priorities across multiple engagements and meet deadlines with confidence
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
A team‑focused mindset, with an interest in mentoring and supporting the development of others
