| Purpose | To lead and institutionalize the Plant Operational Excellence (OE) system and drive measurable SQDCI improvements by deploying the RRPL OS (Phase 1–5 / Bronze / Silver / Gold). |

| Position Purpose | Drive implementation and sustainment of OE across all plant functions using the maturity assessment model: establish the plant operating system, build capability, close maturity gaps, and deliver continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Inventory. |
| Desired Candidate Qualifications & Experience | a. BE/BTech (preferred Mechanical/Industrial/Production) b. 10–12 years of experience in Operational Excellence in manufacturing c. Hands-on experience establishing Daily Management Systems (Tier meetings, SQDCI boards), Leadership Standard Work and audits d. Strong exposure to Lean and Quality Core Tools and structured problem solving |
| Role responsibilities | • Own plant OE deployment plan aligned to the 24‑element maturity assessment; run self‑assessments, gap closure plans and phase readiness • Establish & sustain Plant Operating System: SQDCI boards, escalation triggers, action management • Implement Leadership Standard Work (LSW) across roles; conduct LSW audits and coach leaders/supervisors • Deploy Policy Deployment / Hoshin: X‑Matrix, monthly reviews, and link projects to SQDCI outcomes • Drive Lean Fundamentals: 5S, Kanban, OEE, Kaizen system, Standardized Work (SOS/SWI/SCS) • Institutionalize Rapid Problem Solving: 5‑Why/Fishbone/Pareto, containment discipline, escalation matrix, effectiveness verification • Strengthen Built‑in Quality: QMB routines, defect stratification, PFMEA/Control Plans, SPC/MSA, poka‑yoke program, RCA • Lead Flow & Productivity: VSM (current/future), takt/line balancing, SWIP, layout improvements; drive SMED using video studies • Drive TPM maturity: OEE baselines/targets, loss tree, AM checklists, downtime reduction projects, MTBF/MTTR improvement • Enable Materials/Supply excellence: pull/Kanban sizing, PFEP deployment, supplier scorecards & SCAR/8D closure, shortage reduction • Support SIOP/Cycle Time discipline: site planning routines, effectiveness scorecard, CT dashboards (DOS/OTTR) and improvement actions • Integrate EHS & VPD/NPI requirements into OE: hazard screening in standard work, stage‑gate readiness, lessons learned (yokoten) • Build capability: deliver trainings on OE tools, quality core tools, problem solving; create internal trainer network • Digitize audits/dashboards/action trackers for accuracy, speed, and management reporting |
