Driven by the human side of hospitality, we deliver service with passion, loyalty with purpose, and experiences that truly connect.</span></p><p></p><p><span><b>Together We Thrive</b>—bringing quality, value, and amazing hospitality to every guest, every stay, across 1000+ properties in eight countries and counting.</span></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><b><span style="font-size:14px">Job Description Summary</span></b></u></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>The House Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest floors.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><u><span style="font-size:14px"><b>Job Description</b></span></u></p><p>Key Job Functions</p><ul><li>To establish a comprehensive understanding and demonstrate the Royal Sonesta guest standards</li><li>To establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all: cleaning chemicals, air fresheners and supplies required for this position</li><li>To establish an understanding and knowledge for all surfaces to be cleaned and appropriate cleaners</li><li>Report all maintenance problems and follow up to completion</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and order on his/her assigned guest floor to include:<ul><li>Guest elevator landings: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and general cleaning of baseboards</li><li>Guest hallways, emergency stairwells, terraces and/or walkways: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, general cleaning baseboards</li><li>Employee elevator landings</li><li>Ice Machine Rooms</li><li>Linen lockers and other storage spaces</li><li>Remove trash and other debris from Room Attendant carts to be disposed of in the garbage truck/dumpster</li><li>Assist Room Attendants by supplying items as needed (i.e.) robes, guest linens</li><li>Regularly sort guest linens that are processed in-house from those that are processed at the hotels laundry service</li><li>Regularly assist with laundry truck deliveries by taking soiled linen to the laundry truck and retrieving clean linen</li><li>Guest linens, guest supplies, cleaning chemicals, items</li><li>Guest runs/delivery items to guestrooms</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests</li><li>You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations</li><li>Build solid relationship with your Colleagues</li><li>Treat colleagues with respect and dignity</li><li>Treat people with respect; Keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; Work with integrity and ethically; Uphold organizational values</li><li>Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
