GENERAL PURPOSE:
The IT PM Program Manager position is accountable for delivery of medium complexity projects or group(s) of interdependent projects with medium to large sized teams. The Program Manager establishes and maintains project governance, workplan, resource plan and budget, and oversees vendor selection, negotiation and contracting. They monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met and maintain project documentation and traceability. The Program Manager manages multiple stakeholders including project team(s), Governance and Advisory Group members and other IT and business stakeholders (Manager through SVP level) as well as managing vendor relationships and resources (depending on project needs). The Program Manager works independently to organize and structure their own work, while providing vision, direction, training and coaching to project team members and direct reports. The Program Manager also provides future-focused leadership such as defining new products and services, continuous improvement/innovation, and Project Management capability development. The role is responsible for continuing professional development to ensure they are following appropriate PM practices and staying current on relevant technology, processes and tools.
The base salary range for this role is $142,200 – $235,700. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Stays current on industry and technology trends, leveraging insights to bring forward new products or solutions
• Generates and manages workplans for complex and interdependent programs, projects and workstream plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organized and resourced
• Manages program and/or project resourcing, including staffing costs, forecasts and variances to ensure effective resource utilization
• Plans and leads analysis and stakeholder consultation through SVP level to agree on project scope and deliverables
• Plans and coordinates the requirements identification, document and manage requirements throughout the project; and coordinate verification of achievement
• Identifies risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with programs, escalating where appropriate including to senior leadership
• Drafts and delivers reports and presentations that enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on plan and changes
• At conclusion of project, supervises production of appropriate documentation and training to enable successful transition to business
• Leads vendor contracting and ongoing vendor management
• Leads through the capital funding process managing large budgets
• Leads medium to large teams communicating project vision coordinating team actions on project activities; and flow of additional team members on and off the team as needed
• Builds team capability through training, coaching and mentoring
• Executes stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met
• Identifies, acquires, and manages the resources (physical and human) required for delivery
• Leads direct report(s), including performance management, coaching and development and engagement activities
• Identifies and records lessons learned to inform future project activity
• Reviews existing operations and generates new ideas to guide continuous improvements
• Conducts assurance reviews within the program or project, facilitate the delivery of assurance reviews by independent third parties, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues identified
• Leads post-project reviews and identification of lessons learned
• Maintains external accreditations and stay current on relevant tools and best practices in project management through continuing professional development
• Partners with Engineering Technical managers to lead and manage various engineering-led projects and initiatives
• Manage delivery leads to deliver required infrastructure (shared-services) to portfolio-driven projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science or related equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience leading project planning and execution in a medium to large company, with equivalent experience and focus on IT infrastructure
• Knowledgeable on infrastructure HW/SW areas including Operating Systems, Database, Storage and Networking
• 2+ years of people management experience, including leading project managers
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills to executive audiences; effective listener
• Resourcefulness - identifies different ways to accomplish work when resources are limited
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with individuals through executive level
• Vendor contract negotiation and management
• Influence and Negotiation: able to obtain consensus between two or more internal or external parties with different interests
• Proven organization skills: ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands
• Strong MSOffice skills - Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft One Drive and Visio Adept at learning technologies, tools and processes
• Knowledge of PMO tools such as OnePlan, Primavera, Planview
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project delivery methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project Management Certification such as PMP, PBA, CSM, SAFe Agilist
• Working experience in the retail industry or similar fast-paced environment

Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
Ability to travel up to 5%25 of the time. #LI-Hybrid
