What you will be doing

Key accountabilities:

  • Generate aeroelastic models for fan and compressor components or assemblies
  • Perform aeroelastic simulations for fan and compressor components or assemblies
  • Define engine and component tests to demonstrate life and integrity of components
  • Evaluate simulation, analyses and test results with respect to fatigue-life and integrity
  • Evaluate components and component deviations
  • Presentation of results and writing of reports
  • Prepare certification reports
  • Support methods development
  • Support research projects

To be successful in this role you will need to:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • Good knowledge and experience in CFD methods and application for flow simulations
  • Knowledge in engineering mechanics and application of finite element methods (FEM)
  • Knowledge in aeroelasticity methods
  • Basic knowledge in methods to evaluate fatigue-life and integrity of components
  • Experience in analyses of turbomachinery
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good english spoken and written
