Department: Safety & Regulatory Affairs

The Role

We are recruiting for a Regulatory Interface Officer to join our Safety & Regulatory Affairs team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in communicating with nuclear regulators and managing critical information flows. You’ll help maintain governance documentation, track deliverables, and support digital innovations within the Regulatory Interface Office (RIO) function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain governance documentation and regulatory trackers.
  • Record, track, and transfer correspondence with UK and international regulators, including sensitive and export-controlled information.
  • Provide advice and guidance on regulatory information transfers.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives for RIO.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators.
  • Represent the Regulatory Interface Office Lead when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality documentation.
  • Advanced IT literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong planning skills, adaptability, and willingness to challenge when needed.

Essential:

  • GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a regulatory role.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £30,000 - £38,000
  • Benefit Allowance: £2,200
  • Bonus: 7% on-target
  • Life Assurance: 6x pensionable salary
