Block Shifts available

Part-Time:  E/O Sunday, Thursday 6am-2:30pm,  E/O Saturday 6am-2:30pm

Part-Time: E/O Saturday and Sunday 6am - 2:30pm

Part -Time:  Sundays 6am -2:30 pm, E/O Wednesday and Thursday 6am-2:30pm

Full-Time:  Tuesday and Thursday 6am- 2:30pm,  E/O Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday 6am- 2:30pm

Full -Time: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 6am -2:30pm,  E/O Weekend 6am - 2:30pm

Full-Time: Monday and Tuesday 2:30pm -11:00am, E/O Wednesday, E/O Thursday, E/O Weekend 2:30pm-111:00pm

 Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: 

  • Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
  • Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
  • Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
  • Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
  • Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
  • Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Salary from: $22.50 an hour B.O.E

 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: 

  • Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.  Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.  Registration with State registry required.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
  • Open minded and flexible in meeting the needs and desires of the resident and their families.
  • A desire to learn about the residents by observing their behavior and listening to them.
  •  A desire to have a voice in the care and concerns of the resident
  • A desire to be a good team member and show respect of other team members.
  • Thinks of new ideas and fun activities that will interest the residents.
  • 2-3 years of long-term care, transitional care and memory care experience preferred.

Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status.
