Full Time

Pay starting at $22.00/hr. for entry level candidates. Pay will be based on experience and skill set. 

Rogers Group Inc. is seeking a General Utility Worker that will float between our asphalt plants located in Canton, Henderson, Marion, and Hopkinsville. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operations
  • Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences and increased production demand times
  • Report equipment problems and identify them to management.
  • Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines
  • Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable
  • Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
  • Ability to maintain safe working conditions
  • Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Must be willing to work weekends and overtime
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
