Job Description

Designation: Intern - Mechanical

City-Country: Pune- India

As a Mechanical Systems Intern for industrial automation projects, you need to develop different applications. These applications use design software like CREO, and involve working with products such as Low Voltage/Medium Voltage MCCs, Soft-starters, Variable Frequency Drives, and Switchgears. You will work under the direction of an experienced lead / senior engineer in the design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing, of control and electrical systems.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, Power and have a hybrid schedule working in Pune, India.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Product design and configuration
  • Control panel and MCC design
  • 3D Modelling of Electrical products
  • Panel Layouts
  • Develop Bill of Material (BOM)

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Pursuing Full-time bachelor's degree (preferably in 7th or 8th sem) in Core engineering branches like Electrical / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Communication.
  • Knowledge of core subjects with basic knowledge of programming languages e.g. C, C++.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Relevant coursework in Mechanical Engineering
  • Participation in academic or extracurricular technical projects
  • Curiosity for mechanical design and real‑world applications
  • Experience with manufacturing fundamentals
